Dr. Timo Luchs currently serves as the Head of Application Technology for Cooking & Fire Places at SCHOTT, a position held since January 2019. Prior experience includes roles at ZEISS Group from August 2012 to December 2018, where project management responsibilities included leading the development of advanced MeRiT® mask repair systems and overseeing demo projects for the same technology. Dr. Luchs began academic pursuits with a Ph.D. in Geochemistry/Geochronology at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, where research focused on age dating of mantle and crustal rocks, complemented by a degree in Geology/Palaeontology. Additional experience includes research and development as a Field Applications Engineer and an internship at KLM Consulting Services.
