Jens Riegel

Jens Riegel has a strong background in IT and digital transformation. Jens is currently working as a Digital Transformation Lead at Phoenix Contact, starting in January 2024. Before that, they held the position of Head of IT Strategy, Project Management and Finance at SCHOTT, starting in March 2020. Prior to their time at SCHOTT, Jens worked at Olympus Europe, where they served as the Department Manager for IT Demand Management and Innovation, as well as the Head of Business Process Management. Jens joined Olympus Europe in August 2016 and continued in various roles until their departure in February 2018. Before Olympus, Jens worked as a Director of IT at Eli Lilly and Company from March 2014 to July 2016. Jens also served as the Director of Group IT at Lohmann SE from May 2012 to March 2014, and as the Head of Information Technology at Lohmann Animal Health from July 2010 to May 2012.

Jens Riegel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Managementwissenschaften from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, which they completed in 2009. Jens also holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from the Technical University of Munich, which they completed in 2006.
