Jens Suffner

Jens Suffner is currently the Head of Product Group Sensors & Batteries at SCHOTT, where they enable new products through innovative glass solutions. With past experience as a Sales Manager and Development Engineer, they focus on inorganic materials such as glasses, glass-ceramics, and alloys. Jens has also contributed to research as a scientist at both the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie and Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they earned a Dr.-Ing. in Materials Science. Their expertise spans various industries, including medical, dental, and power generation.
