Jörn Besinger

Director Product Management & New Business Development Cooking (ceran®) at SCHOTT

Jörn Besinger has extensive work experience in various roles at SCHOTT. Jörn started as an Entwicklungsingenieur / Projektleiter in 2001 and worked on projects until 2004. Jörn then became the Leiter R&D from 2004 until 2010. After that, they were the Senior Manager Corporate Business Development from 2010 until 2014. From 2014 until 2018, they served as the Director Product Management Cooking (CERAN®). Finally, they became the Director Product Management & New Business Development Cooking (CERAN®) in 2018. Before joining SCHOTT, Jörn Besinger worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität Karlsruhe (TH) from 1997 to 2001.

Jörn Besinger obtained a Doctorate of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) in Chemistry from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in the year 2000.
