Melanie Padberg

Melanie Padberg is a Dr.-Ing. currently serving as a Product Owner at SCHOTT since 2025, where they hold end-to-end responsibility for digital production orders on the MES layer. They previously worked as a Business Analyst in Digital Innovation at SCHOTT from 2024 to 2026, and as the Managing Director of the Cluster of Excellence "Internet of Production" at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) from 2022 to 2024. Earlier, Melanie gained experience as a Research Strategy Manager at WZL in 2021 and interned in Structural Logistics Planning at AUDI AG in 2015. Melanie has also been involved in research roles and completed their Dr.-Ing. at RWTH Aachen University in 2023.
