Thomas Utz

Thomas Utz is a Scientist in Modelling and Simulation at SCHOTT since April 2018, specializing in the optimization of products and processes through numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and simulation of flows and thermodynamics. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a PhD Researcher at TU Darmstadt from February 2014 to March 2018, focusing on software development for simulating multiphase flows and pursuing high-level research topics such as level set methods. Thomas's career began at MTU Aero Engines, where significant contributions were made as a Repair Design Engineer and as a Trainee in Mechanical Engineering, engaging in various projects across departments.
