Yakup Gönüllü is a scientific expert in coatings, currently serving as the Head of Vacuum Processing & Coating. Previously, Yakup held the position of Research Scientist at SCHOTT from 2017 to 2020 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cologne from 2013 to 2017. Yakup earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Universität zu Köln and has a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering from İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, where they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Material Engineering. Prior to their research career, Yakup was a Ph.D. student at DLR from 2009 to 2013.
