Garvit Agarwal

Garvit Agarwal is a Principal Scientist at Schrödinger since June 2021, with prior roles as Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist I. Experience includes working at Argonne National Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on atomistic modeling of electrode-electrolyte interfaces and collaborating with experimental teams. Prior to this, Garvit served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, where research involved atomistic simulations of nanocrystalline magnesium microstructures. An internship at the US Army Research Lab contributed to this work on deformation behaviors in extreme environments. Earlier roles include Assistant Manager at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., overseeing steel production operations, and completing a B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, followed by a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
