Jared Sampson

Jared Sampson is a Senior Scientist in Life Sciences Software at Schrödinger since October 2020, with a background in computational modeling and therapeutic antibody design. Previously, Jared served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University, focusing on computational studies of protein-protein interfaces from August 2015 to October 2020. Prior to this, Jared worked at NYU Medical Center as a Research Technician specializing in X-ray crystallography for HIV vaccine discovery and at Case Western Reserve University as a Research Assistant studying SHV-family beta-lactamase enzymes. Jared began a career as a Laboratory Technician at Taskem, Inc., performing analyses of electrolytic plating bath samples. Educationally, Jared holds a PhD, MPhil, and MA from Columbia University in Structural Biology and Computational Chemistry, and a BA in Chemistry and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University.
