Jay Krishan Dora

Jay Krishan Dora, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist I at Schrödinger since February 2022, with extensive experience in battery materials research and development. Prior to this role, Jay worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from July 2015 to November 2021, where responsibilities included formulating battery performance testing procedures and characterizing battery components as a Project Associate, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant and Senior Research Fellow focusing on anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Earlier experiences include work as an Assistant Professor at Centurion University of Technology and Management, a Project Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Project Engineer at Trident Fabricators Private Limited. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Battery Materials from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
