Jeffrey Bell

Jeffrey Bell is a highly experienced scientist and product manager with a focus on macromolecular crystallography and molecular modeling. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist and Product Manager at Schrödinger, Inc. since April 2006, Jeffrey oversees the PrimeX software package aimed at refining X-ray crystal structures for drug discovery and computational chemistry. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Principal Scientist at Accelrys, Inc., where expertise was provided to pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and an associate professorship at the University at Albany, along with research positions at the Wadsworth Center. Educational qualifications include a post-doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon, a PhD in Biochemistry from Cornell University, and a BSc with First-class Honours in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta.
