John Shelley

Schrodinger Fellow

John Shelley is a highly experienced professional in computational chemistry, currently serving as a Schrodinger Fellow at Schrodinger since October 2000, where responsibilities include product management and scientific software development focused on conformational searches, drug-like molecule structure preparation, pKa and protonation state prediction, and mixed resolution models for protein-drug interactions. Prior to this role, John Shelley worked as a scientist at Procter & Gamble from January 1996 to September 2000, specializing in the computational chemistry of surfactant solutions, and completed a visiting researcher position at IBM Zurich in 1991. John's academic background includes a Post-Doctorate in Computational Chemistry from The University of British Columbia, a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc, and a BSc from the University of Waterloo.
