Michael Trzoss

Michael Trzoss is a seasoned scientist currently serving as Principal Scientist II at Schrödinger since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from May 2019 to January 2020, and as a Medicinal Chemist at Amplyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2014 to May 2019, as well as Trius Therapeutics from August 2007 to July 2014. Michael's background also features postdoctoral research positions at UCLA and The University of Auckland, where research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. M. Michael holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Zurich (1998-2002) and a Diplom in Organic Chemistry from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (1993-1998).
