Shiven S.

Shiven S. is an experienced professional in the fields of biochemistry, molecular pharmacology, and bioinformatics, currently serving as Director of Solutions Architecture at Schrödinger since July 2015. Previous roles at Schrödinger include Senior Principal Solutions Architect and Associate Principal Scientist, where expertise in Enterprise Informatics was developed. Shiven initiated collaborative research as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at UMass Medical School from 2004 to 2015 and focused on human APOBEC3 proteins during graduate studies, resulting in significant findings related to anti-HIV and anti-cancer therapies. Additional experience includes being a Computational/Bioinformatics Lead at CytRx Corporation and a Technical Analyst intern at Affymetrix. Shiven holds a PhD from UMass Chan Medical School, an MS in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University, and an M.B.B.S. from SMS Medical College in India.
