Ty Balduf

Ty Balduf is a Senior Scientist I at Schrödinger since April 2022, specializing in electronic structure methods for optical rotation calculations. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas from August 2016 to April 2022, where Ty developed new methods for electronic structure calculations and taught laboratory sections in General Chemistry and Biophysical Chemistry. Previous positions also include tutoring in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, as well as serving as a Lab Preparation Technician at St. Ambrose University from January 2013 to May 2016. Ty holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Kansas and a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from St. Ambrose University.
