Markus Schempp has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2003, they interned at Audi AG. Markus then worked as a graduand at Liebherr in 2005. In 2006, they joined Adam Opel AG as a Material Planner, and later that year, they moved to BorgWarner Automotive, where they held multiple positions including Assistant Logistics Manager, Logistics Manager, Program Manager, Senior Area Manager Assembly, and Operations Manager. In 2017, they became the General Manager at SAMAG Truck Components GmbH, and in 2018, they served as the Plant Manager at Gebr. Becker GmbH. From 2019 to 2020, they returned to SAMAG Truck Components GmbH as General Manager, before joining Schuler Group as the Corporate Vice President Production in August 2020.
Markus Schempp earned their Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005.
