Sonja Rust

Sonja Rust has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sonja is currently the Head of Production Support at Schwabe Group, where they lead a team responsible for various tasks such as pharmaceutical documentation, project management, troubleshooting, and technical support. Their team collaborates with different departments like Quality, Engineering, Marketing, and IT. Prior to joining Schwabe Group, Sonja worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions for several years, taking on roles such as Team Supervisor for R&D, New Product Introduction, and New Processes, as well as Formulation Scientist and Coordinator for Lab Assistance. Sonja also worked as a Formulation and Process Development Scientist. Sonja started their career as a Pharma Intern at Merck KGaA in Germany.

Sonja Rust received their education from various universities. Sonja attended The Philipp University of Marburg from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained their 1st State Examination in Pharmazie. Sonja then went on to Heidelberg University, earning their State Examination in Pharmazie from 2003 to 2005. Finally, they completed their education at Heidelberg University from 2007 to 2011, receiving a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmazie.
