Founded in 1989, Schwartz Gilligan has a reputation for excellence and a commitment to client service.  Our philosophy is simple: to provide quality legal representation at a reasonable rate.  We refuse to fall into the trap of a “one size fits all” approach.  Instead, we work closely with our clients on each individual case to tailor our strategy for maximum results.  Our experience with every aspect of civil litigation is unmatched. From pre-suit to trial to appeals, we leverage decades of experience to counsel our clients every step of the way.    

Our Results

At Schwartz Gilligan, we do not just talk about trials; we actually take cases to trial. To date, our firm has handled more than 300 trials in almost every county in Illinois and in numerous federal court districts.

While we have recruited associates from schools throughout the nation, we enthusiastically recruit both attorneys and staff members from our state law schools and local business schools. Our paralegals and legal assistants work hard to assist our attorneys and ensure that filings are accurate, deadlines are met, and tasks are prioritized.
