Johnny Sim

Johnny Sim is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in hardware design and development, currently serving as Development Lead Engineer and Lead Hardware Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories since June 2015. Responsibilities include designing RTL components in VHDL, implementing verification models in Python and MATLAB, and developing automated test infrastructure. Prior roles include Hardware Engineer and Associate Hardware Engineer, with a strong foundation in creating and verifying RTL components. Johnny also has experience as a Hardware Research and Development Intern at DigiPen Institute of Technology, along with various academic support roles, including tutoring and teaching assistance. Johnny holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from DigiPen Institute of Technology.
