Daniel Koris is a C++ Senior Staff Engineer at SciTec, Inc. since September 2023, with prior experience at SAIC focusing on NASA's Exploration & In-Space Services as a developer for Robot Flight Software and the Algorithm Development Platform (ADP). Notable contributions include mentoring a Co-Op student and collaborating with NASA partners to integrate a Motion Planning tool into ADP. Daniel has also worked as a Research Assistant at CU Boulder’s IRON Lab, focusing on augmented reality in robotics, and led projects related to robotic arms and satellite servicing at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Daniel's leadership roles in various competitions, including the NASA Swarmathon, and academic research experience have solidified expertise in programming, robotics, and team management. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
