Disa Böttiger

Disa Böttiger has held a variety of positions in the medical and veterinary fields since 1985. Disa began their career as a District Veterinarian at Jordbruksverket in 1985, and then moved on to become a Clinical Veterinarian at Skara Animal Hospital in 1986. In 1987, they were a Food Control Veterinarian at Livmedelsverket, and then a Researcher at Karolinska Institutet in 1989. From 1994 to 2017, they worked at Medivir AB, where they held various roles such as Director of Business Development, Scientific Advisor, Director of Preclinical Development, Director of Medical Affairs, Director of Pharmacovigilance, Project Manager, Vice President of Clinical Development, and Project Director. In 2017, they became the Director of Clinical Projects at Affibody AB.

Disa Böttiger attended the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences from 1980 to 1985 to study veterinary medicine. Disa then went on to study virology at the Karolinska Institutet, where they obtained their PhD in 1994. In 2000, they attended the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Management Program-EMP.
