Jérôme Mainaud

Jérôme Mainaud is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Referent at SCIAM since April 2025, Jérôme specializes in Java, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch, and is responsible for architectural decisions, team guidance, and promoting best practices. As a podcast speaker for BigDataHebdo since January 2019, Jérôme contributes insights on data technologies. Previous roles include Software Architect at Zeenea, providing technical support for customers, and a Data & Software Engineer at Ippon Technologies, where management of an eight-person team was also undertaken. Early career experience includes project management and software development at Spark Archives, notable for work with significant clients such as the French Department of Finance. Jérôme holds an Engineer Diploma from CentraleSupélec, obtained between 1997 and 2000.
