Tom Riddle has worked in the software engineering industry for over 20 years. Tom started their career in 1997 as a Principal Software Engineer and Co-Founder at Oracom, where they developed a custom Linux distribution for Element Manager firmware. In 2002, they moved to Highstreet Networks as a Principal Software Engineer and Co-Founder, where they automated the installation of Open Source and proprietary modules on top of CentOS using kickstart and rpm. In 2005, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Palm, and in 2008 they moved to Nokia as a Senior Software Engineer. Later that year, they joined BlackBerry as a Software Development Team Lead and Scrum Master, where they designed and implemented messaging backend including database schema and transaction log processing. In 2015, they moved to MESH01 as Director of Product Development, and in 2019 they joined SciAps Inc. as Principal Software Engineer.
Tom Riddle attended the University of Maryland from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Math.
