Science Oxford is a leading hub for STEM education and public engagement across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We show young people that science is exciting, accessible and can open the doors to rewarding STEM careers. 

Based at the Science Oxford Centre, the UK’s first indoor-outdoor STEM education centre located right in the heart of the science and innovation community in Headington, Oxford, we deliver high-quality experiences and activities for schools, families and communities across the region.

What we do
•	For teachers: expert professional development to enhance STEM teaching and learning
•	For primary pupils: inclusive, curriculum-linked, hands-on STEM activities in our centre and in schools that spark curiosity, develop higher-order thinking skills and lay the foundation for a lifelong enjoyment of science

•	For families and communities: awe-inspiring experiences to enjoy and discover the wonders of science together

Science Oxford is part of The Oxford Trust, an independent charitable trust established over 40 years ago by entrepreneurs the late Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood. The Trust’s mission is simple: to “encourage the pursuit of science” through its innovation, education and engagement programmes.
