Yi Wang

Yi Wang is a Remote Sensing and Imagery Scientist at Science and Technology Corporation (STC) since February 2021, specializing in the development of satellite products through conventional methods and Artificial Intelligence techniques. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where Yi Wang developed algorithms for NASA's next-generation satellite sensors and created data pipelines for analyzing satellite images. Additionally, Yi Wang worked as a Natural Hazard Intern at FM Global, applying remote sensing and machine learning to wildfire modeling. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and two Master of Science degrees from Lanzhou University in Atmospheric Physics and Environments, as well as Meteorology.
