Aaron Bartnick is a distinguished policy fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, where they are affiliated with the Critical Technology Initiative. Currently a global fellow at the Center on Global Energy Policy, Aaron researches technology security and economic statecraft. Previously, they served as the Assistant Director for Technology Security and Governance at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, managing critical portfolios related to national security. Aaron has also held roles in various organizations, including Macro Advisory Partners and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, advising on pressing geopolitical issues. They hold an MBA from the University of Oxford and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.
