Kylie Alsofrom

Kylie Alsofrom has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kylie currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Science and has been in this role since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Leadership Consultant at KJA starting in June 2021. In 2022, they joined Rocketship Public Schools as the Senior Director of Professional Learning.

Before joining Rocketship Public Schools, Kylie held multiple roles within the organization from 2014 to 2021. Kylie served as the Director of Schools from May 2018 to June 2021, National Director of Professional Development from July 2019 to January 2021, and Founding Principal from June 2016 to June 2019. Kylie started their journey at Rocketship Public Schools as an Assistant Principal in June 2014.

Prior to their tenure at Rocketship Public Schools, Kylie worked at DC Prep as a Math and Science/Social Studies Instructional Leader from June 2013 to June 2014. Additionally, Kylie served as a D.C. Common Core Collaborative Coach at LearnZillion from October 2012 to June 2014.

Kylie began their career in education as a Content Team Lead at Teach For America in June 2010 and continued in that role until June 2014. Kylie also briefly served as a Corps Member Advisor in June 2011. In January 2012, they became an Education Policy Fellow at Teach Plus.

Kylie Alsofrom attended Claremont McKenna College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Studies and Art History. Kylie then pursued further education at George Mason University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master's Degree in Special Education.
