Mike Jasper has a diverse work experience in technical writing and documentation. Mike started their career as a Lead Technical Writer at Tech Resource Group Inc., where they focused on writing end-user guides for customized software training. Mike then worked as a Lead Technical Writer at Siebel Systems, where they wrote and edited administrator guides for Siebel software. Next, Mike worked as a Contract Technical Writer at Glaxo SmithKline. Mike then joined IBM as an Editor and Web Developer, creating and editing online marketing content for IBM software solutions. After that, they worked at Lenovo as a Senior Editor and Course Developer, creating new content for warranty, sales, and service courses. Following Lenovo, Mike returned to IBM as a Senior Information Developer, documenting cloud-related components of IBM Spectrum Protect server software. Mike also worked at Arup as a Senior Technical Writer (Contract), creating customized documentation and videos for non-technical users. Mike's next role was at NetIQ as a Senior Technical Writer, where they documented modules used with NetIQ AppManager software. Mike Jasper has a Master of Arts degree in English & Creative Writing from North Carolina State University. Mike also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Iowa.
