Mathieu Debusschère

Mathieu Debusschère serves as the Directeur des affaires publiques et de la communication institutionnelle at Cinémas UGC since November 2022, while also fulfilling the role of Officier de la réserve citoyenne du Chef d’état-major with the Armée de l’air et de l’espace since September 2024. Additionally, Mathieu has been a lecturer at Sciences Po since November 2017 and previously managed the independent movie house Cinéma des Cinéastes until November 2022. Mathieu also held the position of Managing Director at L'ARP from November 2016 to 2022, overseeing a guild that represents French and European filmmakers. Previous experience includes public affairs at Canal+ and roles at the Présidence de la République and Paris City Hall, focusing on strategic communication and relations with government entities. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Communication and a Bachelor's degree from Sciences Po, along with additional studies in Cinema/Audiovisual at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
