Simon Chignard

Simon Chignard is a prominent figure in the fields of data, artificial intelligence, and public policy with extensive experience across various roles. Currently, Simon serves as Président of Observatoire Data Publica, analyzing data and AI challenges in the public sector, and as a Senior Research Affiliate at Data-Pop Alliance, focusing on leveraging data science for community transformation. Simon is also an EUI Expert for the European Urban Initiative, contributing to smart city projects. In addition to these roles, Simon lectures on data and algorithms for public policy at Sciences Po, while maintaining a self-employed status as an author, speaker, and consultant. Previous positions include Senior Policy Advisor at Etalab, Senior Marketing Manager at Kerlink, and co-founder of Mediaveille and Nexima. Simon holds a Master’s degree in IT management and marketing from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and completed studies at the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale.
