Derrick Mitchell

Derrick Mitchell is a seasoned expert in fire alarm and life safety systems, currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer at Sciens Building Solutions since April 2025. Prior to this role, Derrick was the Division President of LS Systems, a division of Sciens Building Solutions, from May 2004 to April 2025, where extensive experience was gained in areas such as design, engineering, support, corporate building, and project management. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earned between 2004 and 2007.
