Masoud Aali

Masoud Aali holds a Ph.D. and serves as founder and chief executive officer of Scient Analytics Inc. They currently lead the company and focus on mining innovation. They have held roles including postdoctoral researcher at Polytechnique Montréal (2022–2024) and recipient of the 2022 IVADO Entrepreneur Postdoc Fellowship, as well as a visiting scholar appointment at Texas A&M University (2019) and visiting research fellow at GEOMAR Kiel (2018–2019). They currently serve as Faculty Research Chair - Critical Minerals at the College of the North Atlantic. They earned a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geophysics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (2012–2014) and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Dalhousie University (2015–2020).
