Lucas Weier

Lucas Weier has worked at three different companies. Lucas started at SGS in 2017 as a Software Engineer Intern, where they developed a software installation utility using C++ and QML in Qt Creator. Lucas also created a plotting application that could plot data from multiple sources and parsed error logs into SQLite databases.

In 2018, Lucas joined Delphi Technologies as a Systems Engineer, responsible for creating and managing documents, requirements, and test cases. Lucas used Polarion for requirements management and presented their work during audits to prove traceability of project requirements. Lucas also worked as a Software Engineer at Delphi Technologies, where they streamlined the CAN communication process and simplified the organization of user variables during manual testing. Lucas'stool improved manual test efficiency by 20% and was developed in C#.

Lucas Weier attended Center Grove High School from 2010 to 2014 and received a High School Diploma. After that, they enrolled at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. Lucas graduated with cum laude honors in 2018. In September 2020, Lucas obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
