William Holmes

Research Engineer at Scientific Systems

William Holmes is a Research Engineer at Scientific Systems since January 2017, specializing in the development of light-weight linear and nonlinear perception and estimation algorithms for small UAVs. Prior to this role, William served as a Graduate Student at Penn State University from August 2013 to December 2016, where research focused on creating estimation and control algorithms for landing UAVs on moving platforms without GPS or communication. William holds a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
