Dan Sobel

Dan Sobel currently serves as the Vice President of Accounting at Scientist.com, overseeing indirect tax compliance processes across more than 20 countries. Previously, Dan held roles including Assistant Controller at Turning Point Therapeutics, where involvement in an IPO led to $394 million raised, and Senior Accounting Manager at Metacrine, Inc., focusing on monthly close processes and IPO readiness. Dan's experience encompasses various accounting roles at Exagen Diagnostics, Lytx Inc., Novatel Wireless, and KPMG LLP, with a strong background in financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance. Dan holds a Master of Accounting from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC San Diego.
