Tom Dexter

Tom Dexter has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and procurement. Tom is currently working as the Vice President of Business Development at Scientist.com, where they help pharmaceutical scientists discover medical breakthroughs more efficiently. Prior to this, Tom worked at AstraZeneca in various roles, including Glocal Category Leader, Pre-Clinical Research Global Category Leader, and Global Category Manager. During their time at AstraZeneca, they successfully led the outsourcing of scientific services, implemented global strategies, and developed a fully integrated supply chain. Tom also gained experience as a Global Sourcing Manager at AstraZeneca and as a Global Commodity Lead at Rolls-Royce.

Tom Dexter obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1997 to 2001. Tom then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Supply Chain Management at the University of Southampton from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they studied at KGV from 1995 to 1997, where the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
