Brandon Bates has an extensive background in the field of applications support and research, with a focus on capillary electrophoresis and genetics. At SCIEX since January 2014, Brandon has served as Manager of Capillary Electrophoresis Field Application Support and as a Sr. Field Applications Specialist, providing specialized support for various analytical instruments. Prior to this role, Brandon worked at Beckman Coulter as a Field Applications Specialist for pharmaceuticals and genetics, and gathered research experience as a Research Associate at Argonne National Laboratory in the Microbial Systems Lab. Brandon also has a background in internal medicine and cardiology from a position held as Research Associate and Laboratory Manager at The University of Iowa.
