Christopher Bouma

Christopher Bouma has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in the development of mass spectrometers. Currently serving as the Manager of Mechanical Hardware Development at SCIEX since January 2015, Christopher leads a cross-functional team focused on innovative design in mass spectrometry. Previous roles at SCIEX include Technical Manager for Mass Analyzers and Vacuum, and Mechanical Design Engineer, where responsibilities involved overseeing the design of critical ion optics components and vacuum systems. Prior to SCIEX, Christopher worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at IONICS Mass Spectrometry from July 2005 to January 2015. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University and has completed the Credentials of Readiness program in Business/Managerial Economics from Harvard Business School Online.
