Gerd König

Gerd König is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, and Big Data analytics. Serving as Principal Engineer and Partner at Scigility Inc. since September 2014, Gerd specializes in cloud setups with AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible. Previous roles include Managing Partner and Data Engineer, focusing on the design and maintenance of Hadoop clusters and Big Data architectures. Gerd has also consulted on Hadoop ecosystems and provided training through Cloudera, along with a background in system engineering and service management at TRANSPOREON GmbH.
