Vicent Alabau

Vicent Alabau started their work experience in 2002 as a Developer at Servicom2000, where they designed and developed an intranet using various technologies. In 2003, they joined Capgemini as a Junior Consultant, responsible for creating an intranet and developing web pages. From 2004 to 2008, Vicent worked as a Researcher at ITI - Instituto Tecnol\xf3gico de Inform\xe1tica, where they contributed to the development of translation systems and maintained a call center. In 2007, they worked as a Guest Researcher at RWTH Aachen University. In 2008, they became a Researcher at Universitat Polit\xe8cnica de Val\xe8ncia (UPV), conducting research until 2014. In 2013, Vicent was a Visiting Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. In 2014, they co-founded the company Sciling and held the positions of Co-founder & CEO until 2018, and Co-founder & COO from 2018 onwards. Since 2017, they have also been involved with RUNE INTELIGENCIA FARMACEUTICA, first as the CTO and later as VP RESEARCH: IA / MACHINE LEARNING.

Vicent Alabau pursued their education in a variety of fields. Vicent obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 1997 and 2003. In 2014, they began their doctoral studies in Computer Science at UPV, and as of now, the end year is unknown. Alongside their academic endeavors, they engaged in specialized training programs and courses. In 2012, Vicent pursued Translation Process Research at the Copenhagen Business School. Vicent participated in the Summer School on Language and Speech Communication and Information Fusion in Natural Language Systems at the University of Hamburg in 2006.

Vicent also obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Vicent became a certified Scrum Master through Scrum Manager in February 2020. In October 2016, they acquired the ITIL® (2011) Foundation certification from APMG International, and they attained the PRINCE2® (2009) Foundation certification from the same institution in July 2016. Additionally, Vicent holds the COBIT® (2012-Found) Foundation certification, although the specific month and year of attainment are unknown.

It is worth noting that Vicent briefly pursued a course on PyMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) management at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros in 2015. Vicent also engaged in an entrepreneurship-focused program at ISC Academy from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore, they participated in the Taller instrumento pymes - fase II, although no dates or field of study details are provided for this experience.
