Complex R&D programs sometime encounter challenges where technical experts, deep in their own disciplines, can't always see what's hiding at the boundaries between them. We call these blind spots scientific silos. Scilo Bridge exists to find them before they cost you.
We are a specialized consultancy offering independent scientific due diligence and cross-disciplinary analysis for innovation-driven organizations. Drawing on a Red Teaming methodology adapted from wargaming and cybersecurity, we pressure-test your R&D programs, surface unstated assumptions, and deliver findings in a way your team can actually hear and act on.
Who we work with:

Science-driven enterprises where technical silos form naturally as organizations scale
Venture capital firms requiring rigorous scientific due diligence before committing capital
Startups seeking deep complementary expertise — with flexible, creative engagement structures available

Our team brings PhDs and executive-level experience across biochemistry, protein engineering, fermentation, microbiome science, molecular biology, formulation science, and more. We've held leadership roles at IFF, DuPont, Origin Materials, and Biose Industrie, and conducted research at Caltech, UCSF, and Penn State.

If your pipeline deserves a harder look before the next milestone — let's talk.
