Saima Shams

Saima Shams is a highly motivated Toxicology graduate with a robust academic background from Jamia Hamdard, where they completed both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Toxicology. Saima has gained significant research experience, particularly during an internship at the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, where they evaluated Health-Based Guidance Values for pesticides and assessed their carcinogenic potential. Their bachelor’s dissertation involved experimental studies on the effects of fenugreek and amla on sirtuin protein levels and antioxidant enzymes, providing a solid foundation in research methodologies. Currently, Saima is pursuing a role as a Regulatory Affairs Executive at Scimplify, seeking to contribute to food safety and public health through innovative research and regulatory compliance.
