Jon Wilkinson

Jon Wilkinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jon began their career in 1993 at Rogers & Brown as a Programmer Analyst, where they maintained exporting systems and led a redesign of the entire exporting system. Jon then worked at Cochrane Furniture Company as an EDI Coordinator, developing custom ERP enhancements and initiating EDI services with retail stores. From 1996 to 1998, Jon worked at Data Processing Services as an IT Consultant.

In 1998, they joined Windstream as a Senior Programmer Analyst and Web Application Developer, where they took on various projects such as developing a Java library for a TCP/IP socket interface, automating phone disconnects and reconnects between billing systems, and creating a JSF order-entry application. Jon also developed a service for credit card processing.

Jon worked as an Independent Consultant in 2007, focusing on Java development, before joining ACN in 2008 as a Java Developer. At ACN, they developed custom Java order-entry web applications, billing system code, and established new department standards.

Jon also had experience at NOAA as a Web Developer from 2008 to 2014. Here, they worked on the National Operational Model Archive and Distribution System project as a Java Web Developer.

In 2014, Jon joined both Sciolytix and DigitalChalk | LMS as a Software Engineer.

Jon Wilkinson's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Greenville Technical College. Jon pursued an Associate of Science degree in Programming and completed their studies in 1993.

After a break in their education, Jon enrolled at Catawba College in 2003. Over the course of two years, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems, graduating with honors (Cum Laude) in 2005.

In 2005, Jon furthered their education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Technology. Jon completed their studies in 2007, thereby concluding their formal education.
