David Blado is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as the CTO and CoFounder of SCIP since May 2023. Blado has been the Sole Proprietor of Blade CG since September 2005, providing consulting services focused on technical feasibility research, software engineering, information technology management, and technical support. Notable projects include a MySQL backed Django application for a prominent yacht club in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior roles include CTO and CoFounder at VendOp, and Product Marketing Manager at Red Hat, where Blado introduced people to PaaS solutions. Additional experience includes engineering operations and release engineering positions at deCarta, eBay, Cadence Design Systems, and Nortel Networks. David Blado holds an MBA from Clarkson University and a BS in MIS from the same institution.
