SciTech Scity is a 30-acre innovation campus in Jersey City, bringing together entrepreneurs, scientists, educators and community leaders to solve real-world problems through technology and science. Located near the Statue of Liberty, it’s where bold ideas become practical solutions that can scale. What sets SciTech Scity apart is its commitment to testing and proving technology in real-world settings. The campus, including the existing Liberty Science Center, is known as the Frank J. Guarini Innovation Campus. The first $450-million phase of this ambitious project includes:
• Liberty Science Center High School – A STEM-focused public magnet high school for Jersey City and Hudson County, where students learn through hands-on experiences tied to real-world challenges.
• Edge Works – An 8-story business incubator where startups, corporations, and public innovators collaborate to build technologies ready for deployment. Focus areas include digital health and clean tech, with partners like Sheba Medical Center leading HealthSpace 2030—a prototype for the future of healthcare.
• Scholars Village – Residential housing by Alpine Residential for innovators, entrepreneurs, STEM students, and families who want to live at the heart of cutting-edge development.
• Public Commons – 3 acres of community space for art installations, food trucks, markets, science festivals, and maker fairs, designed to inspire curiosity and engagement.
