Ian Matthews has over 25 years of experience in project management, control systems validation, and automation compliance in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors. Currently serving as the Qualification Lead at Scitech since 2023, Ian has previously held roles such as Senior CSV Engineer at Amgen and Lead CSV Engineer at Bristol Myers Squibb. Ian's expertise includes the generation of validation documentation in accordance with GAMP 4/5 and 21 CFR Part 11, as well as the installation and qualification of various equipment and automated systems. Ian also has hands-on and supervisory experience throughout all phases of projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to process improvement and compliance. Ian is pursuing an OND in Technology at the University of Worcester.
