Since 1996 Wandsworth Primary Schools Consortium WPSC has been accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership to train highly motivated graduates to teach 5-11 year olds in primary schools via a school-centred initial teacher training SCITT . From 2003 there has also been the opportunity for trainees to specialise as teachers of 3-7 year olds. For 2016 17 we are offering PGCE places for 38 trainees.
