Caycee Ricketts

Board Member at South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

Ms. Ricketts is a student at CSUDH majoring in child development. Ms. Ricketts is expected to graduate from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Spring 2024. After receiving her BA, Ms. Ricketts would like to work in Special Education, either with children or adults. In addition to going to school, Ms. Ricketts is involved in different clubs and is a current member of the Child Development Association at CSUDH. Ms. Ricketts is also the President of the Advocate Advisory Committee at SCLARC and a member of the DDS CAC. In addition, Ms. Ricketts also volunteers at Ability First. Her hobbies are listening to music and reading. Ms. Ricketts was introduced to the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center when she first started going to West LA College, which is one of the reasons why she joined SCLARC’s board. Ms. Ricketts would like to help individuals with developmental disabilities to learn more about the services available when they first become clients of South Central Los Angeles Regional Center.
