Sharon Dixon

Chief of Case Management at South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

Sharon Dixon was promoted to Chief of Case Management in 2021. She provides management and oversight of Consumer Support Services units and oversees case management activities in accordance with the agency’s mission and core values. She monitors overall service delivery and customer service to ensure the department’s efficiency and adheres to the agency’s policies, procedures, and practices.

Mrs. Dixon began her career working with individuals that have an intellectual disability in 1996 when she worked with a vendor in the SCLARC community. She later transferred to North Los Angeles County Regional Center in 1998 as a Service Coordinator to continue to serve and advocate for individuals who are intellectually disabled.

Mrs. Dixon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master’s of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
