SCM Direct is an award-winning online wealth manager founded in 2009 by Gina and Alan Miller. We combine rigorous academic research with decades of practical investment experience to deliver transparent, low-cost portfolio management for investors.

What makes us different? We invest alongside you. Our founders have significant personal money invested in exactly the same portfolios, on exactly the same terms and fees as our clients. This alignment of interests means we are never tempted to take excessive risks or cut corners with clients’ money.

Our approach is built on four principles:
• Consistency - disciplined, evidence-based investment strategies
• Transparency - 100% clarity on costs, holdings, and performance
• Low costs - keeping fees and volatility down so your returns stay up
• Research-led asset allocation - using data and academic insight to position our portfolios

We are also passionate campaigners for fairness in the UK fund management industry, regularly publishing research and thought-leadership items aimed at improving consumer protection.
